Great place! So many wonderful products!!! I live in Fbg. Whenever friends come to visit, this is one of the first places we take them.
Fun store! So much selection of pickled goods, condiments, mustards, bbq sauces and spices, preserves. It's a little pricy but high quality. The 8 oz stone ground mustard was amazing and $10. Got some pickles also for $14, but it's a specialty food store and I gave it away as a hostess gift. I think they could improve their branding and how their jar labels look for the amount they charge, but it's a cute store. Would go again next time we are in town! They do close a little early so check the times if you want to go!
I absolutely love this place! Been coming here for decades. They have so many dips, salsas, dressings, jams, jellies and pickled items. The best part is you can sample EVERYTHING before you buy it. My favorite it's a Very Very Hot salsa I use for food, not dipping. They also have dry rubs, soup and dip mixes.
This place is a must stop at Fredericksburg. The place is packed and so many sauces, jams, pickles, hot sauce and many more items. The great thing about this place is you can sample almost all of their items before purchasing them. The staff are friendly and continuously refilling all of their items for samples. The place is vibrant and packed with people so if you don't like the crowd, this is not the place for you. It's worth a stop, you won't regret it!
I love Rustlin Rob's Texas Gourmet Foods. It is one of the spots that I always visit when I got to Fredericksburg and is so appealing due to their variety of sauces, spreadable butters, jams, dips, etc. They have an enormous quantity of products, many of the them from Fredericksburg itself. I usually come here to stock up on Fredericksburg jams and nut butters, as well as some dip mixes and toppings. The biggest draw to this shop, though, is their samples. Rustlin Rob's sets out all kinds of samples of hot sauces, jams, nut butters, dips, toppings, etc. It is a good place to stop to sample their goodies before purchasing. And the sheer number of samples that they have is impressive. The whole store has samples set out. it is quite an experience to visit this place. Towards the back of the store, they also sell some cured meats, sausages and cheeses, so it is a great way to get some Fredericksburg goodies for home or as gifts. Pricewise, they are a bit on the higher end, but they do have some affordable options, and its worth the visit just to have a taste of some of their goods.

Fantastic selection of hot sauces, honey, jams, pickled veggies, dips, chili, nut butters and more! All the products are out f on the shelf or you to sample as you go from room to room.
If you want samples that hundreds of people have potentially touched, this is the right place for you. The concept of this store is so fun! You can sample a variety of things before you buy, including hot sauces, pickles, olives, mustard, preserves, and various sauces/dips. I only tried the preserves because I am not a fan of those other goods. However, my friends tried a lot of other samples and had a good time. I liked the wide selection of samples. Just make sure you bring a strong immune system with you. I must add, the hand sanitizer smelled AWFUL. I joked that they put olives in there, but I'm not really joking. The hand sanitizer was foul.
So the big question is, are you a fan of sampling out of containers that dozens if not hundreds of people have already picked through? If so, then this is definitely the place for you. You can find every imaginable salsa, mustard, olives, preserves, garlic oil, rubs, and dips. At the very back of the store you'll find the well lit up hot sauce room. You can also purchase smoked sausages, cheese, cornmeal and jerky.
This was a fun store to visit as they had tons of samples to try of a large amount of products. Additionally, the store was kept clean and was laid out/ organized well! The staff members were happy to suggest items/ tell me which was their favorite which made choosing my items much easier. I tried a variety of items including chocolate peanut butter, wassail, pecan honey butter and jams. Everything was delicious and these items make great gifts to bring home! While not cheap, the prices were about what I expected so I got a few things. I'd definitely stop back in when I'm visiting again!
